Shepherd’s Clinic offers numerous opportunities for college students interested in either medical experience or community volunteering (or both).
The Clinic is staffed by volunteers from all medical areas, offering students interested in medicine exposure and networking opportunities. The environment gives plenty of opportunities toward establishing relationships and further medical experiences. Volunteering at Shepherd’s Clinic also means that you will not be limited to just the medical field — if you have experience you can help in many other ways, be it exercise and nutrition education, construction, or gardening.
Working at the Clinic is easy–we are between Johns Hopkins and Morgan State University, on the Hopkins Eastern Shuttle Route, and accessible by a number of bus lines. We also offer volunteer shifts at a variety of times during the day, Wednesday evenings, and Saturday mornings.
