You’ve Come to the Right Place!

If you’re looking for a great volunteer opportunity, you’ve come to the right place. Here at Shepherd’s Clinic, we rely on volunteers for medical, mental health and wellness care and every other aspect of clinic management. Our volunteers are doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, counselors, social workers, nurses, nutritionists, yoga instructors, massage therapists, acupuncturists, stress reduction instructors, smoking cessation instructors, students, professionals, retirees and patients.

Shepherd’s Clinic offers numerous opportunities for professionals, students, and community members interested in either medical experience, community volunteering, and addressing the health needs of our community. Volunteers have the opportunity to practice their professional skills in a caring and supportive environment, develop relationships with other volunteers, learn how a clinic like Shepherd’s runs, and make a deep, lasting, and necessary impact on the live of our patients.

Working at the Clinic is easy–we are centrally located in north central Baltimore and accessible by a number of bus lines and the Johns Hopkins Eastern Shuttle. We also offer volunteer shifts at a variety of times during the day, Wednesday evenings, and Saturday mornings.

Below you find a list of areas you may be part of. Most positions require a minimum commitment of one year or equivalent effort over a shorter period. If you are a premed student, please note that we don’t offer shadowing opportunities unless you’re a current volunteer.

You already have taken the first step to be part of our team, we encourage you to visit our APPLICATION page, where you will find available opportunities and valuable information on how to be a Shepherd’s Clinic volunteer. If you have questions please email us at volunteer@shepherdsclinic.org or give us a call at (410) 467 7140 ext. 227.

Thank you!
